Welcome and thanks for stopping by, I’m so happy you did. Speech Rambles is a therapy blog for SLPs, therapists and educators.

My name is Shannon and I am a pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP). My clinical experience has focused on pediatric speech and language therapy with children aged 3 to 16 in both schools and clinics. My passion for the field stems from my desire to help with communication at the core of what drives me to provide the best therapy for the children I serve.

Okay, so why did I want to create this blog? To be honest, at the very least, I wanted a place to collect all of my favorite things speech and language in one place. I wanted to create a place where evidence based practice was at the core of everything I posted. I wanted to create a space where you could find information across topics, but specific to pedi. I hope I can stay true to this. I hope I can uphold my mission is to provide you with quality information and materials that you can refer to in your daily practice.

When I am not all things speech & language, I am with my husband and pup. You may also find me running, hiking and spending time with my family and friends.
